I wanted to provide scaffold users with a standing platform and gate to increase safety when working at higher levels, so I invented this. My design would help to prevent workers from falling off the scaffolding.

- SCAFFOLD SAFETY SYSTEM
- That would be utilized with all commercial scaffold systems typically employed by all trades such as masonry, painting, siding, stucco, framing carpentry, etc.
- Would be comprised of two devices, with the first component being a safety arm, and the second component being a safety gate
- Both units would be offered and packaged as a complete set
- Both units could be produced of aluminum, with each unit being a one-piece, selfcontained welded device
- SAFETY ARM
- The safety arm would be a platform to stand on when lifting planks on and off the scaffold structure in a safe manner
- The unit would be a horizontal, rectangular standing plate-formed platform device with an open-form angled, cantilevered underside support apparatus with integrated hook-on welded plate appendages
- The safety arm could also have a diamondplate top surface to aid in footing
- SAFETY GATE
- The safety gate would be developed for the end of the scaffold to protect from falls on the ends of the scaffolding structure
- It would be comprised of a vertical openform, tubular gate structure having a perimeter tubing frame and two equalspaced central horizontal beams
- The unit would also have integrated hookon welded plate appendages located on one vertical side for safe attachment to the scaffold
